Director of Operations

Join a well-established and growing civil engineering firm as their next Director of Operations. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence and aligning internal processes with organizational objectives. You will work closely with leaders across departments to enhance workflow efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and promote a strong, people-first culture.

• Design and execute operational strategies that align with long-term business goals.
• Oversee daily operations across HR, IT, Finance, Marketing, and Office Management.
• Streamline workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor budgets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and resource utilization.
• Partner with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives.
• Cultivate a high-retention, inclusive work environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership within Architecture or Engineering (AE) environments.
• Proven success managing cross-functional teams, budgets, and strategic planning.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and communication abilities.
• Direct experience working in an AE firm is required.
