HVAC Cooking Equipment Technician

We are hiring multiple HVAC Cooking Equipment Technicians (all experience levels) to service, repair, and install commercial kitchen equipment across gas, steam, and advanced electric systems. You’ll perform field diagnostics, preventative maintenance, installations/commissioning, and provide excellent customer service for foodservice clients. • Diagnose, repair, and maintain gas-powered commercial kitchen equipment (convection ovens, fryers, griddles, tilt skillets).
• Service smaller kitchen appliances (e.g., food processors, coffee machines).
• Service and maintain steam-powered units (steamers, boosters, slicers) and perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on advanced equipment.
• Independently diagnose and repair high-end electric equipment (combi ovens, pressure fryers, dishwashers, mixers, rapid ovens).
• Troubleshoot and repair advanced electric control systems.
• Lead system installations and commissioning of new units.
• Accurately log service jobs, notes, and updates using Tech Anywhere.
• Provide field mentorship and training to technicians (for senior technicians with 5+ years of experience).
• Deliver expert-level client support and handle escalated service calls (senior level).
• Uphold safety, quality, and customer service standards while working independently in the field.

• CFESA Gas Certification or the ability to obtain it; strong understanding of gas-powered commercial kitchen equipment.

• 2+ years of relevant field service experience servicing commercial cooking equipment (gas, steam, or electric).

• Experience servicing steam units and conducting preventative maintenance; CFESA Steam Certification preferred.

• Proficiency diagnosing and repairing high-end electric equipment and advanced electric control systems; CFESA Electric Certification preferred.

• Ability to lead installations and commissioning of new units.

• For senior roles: 5+ years of experience, with proven field training/mentorship and handling escalated calls.

• Proficiency with digital service documentation tools (e.g., Tech Anywhere) and accurate job logging.

• Valid driver’s license; ability to work independently in the field and provide strong customer service.

• Willingness to pursue/maintain relevant CFESA certifications (Gas, Steam, Electric).

• Availability to support a growing, nationwide service operation as needed.
