Special Education Teacher (Contract – W2) | $50–$58/hr

We are hiring a Contract Special Education Teacher for a school-based resource setting in Beach Park, Illinois. This is a W2 contract position with a manageable caseload and strong on-site support.

Job Details

• Pay: $50–$58 per hour (W2)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 35.5 hours/week

• Hours: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Day Shift, 4x8 schedule)

• Setting: Resource program with shared paraprofessional

• Caseload: 15–20 students

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and academic support in a resource setting

• Develop and manage IEPs in compliance with Illinois requirements

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff

• Monitor student progress and maintain documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Must be licensed to teach Special Education in Illinois

• Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement (Required)

• Spanish bilingual preferred (flexible)
