Why This Role Matters

MissionHires is seeking a Senior Director of Admissions to lead, coach, and optimize our campus Admissions team to consistently exceed enrollment goals. This role oversees daily operations, staffing, lead flow, local marketing initiatives, and high school lead generation while ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies. The Senior Director collaborates closely with Marketing, Financial Aid, campus executives, and regional leaders to drive exceptional student experience, accurate forecasting, and continuous performance improvement.

How You'll Contribute
  • Recruit, train, manage, supervise, and motivate Admissions and support staff
  • Evaluate phone calls for each Admissions Representative biweekly and interviews monthly; conduct quarterly Professional Standards evaluations and annual/semi-annual performance reviews
  • Observe interviews and monitor recorded calls to provide coaching and ensure accurate lead entry and proper handling
  • Review all inbound recorded calls within 72 hours and ensure front desk adherence to standards
  • Design staffing schedules/shifts to ensure full coverage for inbound leads during hours of operation
  • Monitor and respond appropriately to public reviews and mystery shops
  • Track, monitor, and report on progress toward start goals; deliver accurate, on-time reports and forecasts
  • Coach and develop Admissions Representatives for leadership succession into future director roles
  • Collaborate with campus management to align resources with admissions goals and review daily/weekly performance against standards
  • Partner with Financial Aid to run STITCH/GAP meetings and maintain excellent interview-to-start performance and customer service
  • Work with campus Executives and Regional Directors to assess and refine admissions policies and procedures
  • Plan and execute campus-based events (open houses, orientations, etc.)
  • Lead daily standups and weekly team meetings to build cohesion, review goals, policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Correspond professionally with prospective students, applicants, and stakeholders regarding admissions standards
  • Provide input on budgets, training meetings, and campus facilities
  • Ensure business professional dress code compliance for Admissions staff Monday–Friday
  • Uphold integrity, business acumen, numerical and analytical rigor in decisions and coaching
  • Serve as a reliable, presentable campus leader in a fast-paced, student-facing environment
  • Guide prospective students throughout the admissions process with superior communication
  • Leverage CRM, CampusVue, and MS Office for lead management, tracking, and reporting
  • Comply with all institutional policies, standards, and regulatory expectations
  • Complete additional projects and duties as assigned

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Director of Admissions (DOA) managing multiple admissions staff, with similar program mix and student volume
  • Demonstrated proficiency in enrollment management practices
  • Strong organizational, leadership, staff development, and implementation skills
  • Proven numerical, analytical, and business acumen with accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
