Fosterful is hiring a compassionate and reliable Placement Support Manager to support children and caregivers in the foster care system. This role focuses on providing trauma-informed, hands-on support to help foster families succeed. The ideal candidate is flexible, solution-focused, and passionate about making a difference. As a Placement Support Manager, you will provide personalized support aligned with our mission and values.

How You'll Contribute
  • Develop and implement holistic and customized care plans for children and caregivers in the foster care system.

  • Provide on-the-ground support and advocacy for foster families, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with team members and external partners to deliver consistent and exceptional service to clients and donors.

  • Maintain clear and transparent communication with all stakeholders, building trust through ethical behavior.

  • Participate in team meetings and decision-making processes, contributing to a culture of respect and inclusivity.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with case management in a residential, behavioral or medical setting

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field

  • 5+ years of documented experience directly working with children and families in daycare, school, residential care, or community service organization settings

  • Demonstrated knowledge of child safety

  • Effective problem solving

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Knowledge of basic child development and milestones

  • Effective interpersonal communication.

  • Proven ability to record and submit timely documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 6 months of childcare experience OR 5+ years of relevant childcare and case management expereince

  • Understanding of trauma-informed care and positive behavior support

  • Strong communication skills and professional boundaries

Licensing

  • Valid Washington driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance

  • Pass required background checks

  • Ability to obtain First Aid, CPR, and BBP certifications

Schedule & Physical Requirements

  • Part-time to full-time hours based on caseload needs and employee availability

  • Flexible schedule (evenings/weekends as needed)

  • Ability to safely transport children

  • Must have the physical ability to stay active with children, including running, playing, and lifting children in and out of car seats

Skills & Personal Qualities

  • Basic computer skills and timely documentation

  • Organized, dependable, and able to work independently or on a team

  • Patient, calm, and aligned with Fosterful’s mission

  • Regular evening work is required to support family needs and attend events. Flex time may be used if working outside regular hours.

  • Successful candidates must agree to a set schedule and onsite work for their first 3 months before changing shifts or working remotely.
