Trigon Hotels is seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team in Cork. In this key role, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all hotel facilities, oversee maintenance budgets, and maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and guest satisfaction.

How You'll Contribute
  • Lead and manage the maintenance department to ensure smooth hotel operations

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all hotel facilities

  • Manage maintenance budgets and control costs

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations

  • Supervise and train maintenance staff

  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers

  • Respond promptly to guest and operational maintenance requests

  • Support hotel development and refurbishment projects

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Previous experience in maintenance management

  • Experience in a customer-facing environment; hotel or hospitality experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance, housekeeping, facilities, and health & safety standards

  • Excellent organisational, flexibility, and adaptability skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with guests and staff

  • Desirable: Trainer qualification, Health & Safety qualification (First Aid, Manual Handling, Risk Assessor, etc.), 2-3 years’ experience in a 4-star hotel, additional trade skills
