Why This Role Matters

The Head of Product is a key role at our startup as it will be leading the product team. The ideal candidate will support the leadership team to build a world-class strategy working with key internal and external stakeholders and mentoring the product team in order to maintain top performance and maximize value. Also, the ideal candidate will have experience building B2B SaaS products from scratch.

How You'll Contribute

Product Strategy and Vision

  • Develop and Communicate Vision: Craft and articulate a clear, compelling product vision and strategy aligned with the company's long-term (minimum 3-year) objectives.

  • Align Product Strategy with Company OKRs: Support management in ensuring the product strategy aligns with company OKRs, facilitating stakeholder alignment at all levels.

  • Monitor Product Success: Track product KPIs to measure success and inform strategic decisions.

Leadership and Team Management

  • Coach and Mentor Teams: Guide product teams in applying methodologies, processes, and metrics while developing skills in strategy, leadership, communication, and management.

  • Build a Top-Performing Team: Lead talent management by recruiting, developing team members, rewarding performance based on clear expectations.

  • Remove Execution Barriers: Assist teams in unblocking problems, removing obstacles, and resolving dependencies to enable fast execution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Technology Leadership: Work with tech leaders to establish clear responsibilities and align on strategy, processes, and roadmap.

  • Align Across Departments: Ensure goal setting and alignment across all departments and stakeholders, including tech, sales, marketing, and campaigns.

  • Partner with Design and Data Teams: Coordinate with design and data teams to efficiently deliver value.

  • Integrate Design, Product, and Engineering: Align these teams to ensure cohesive product development.

Communication and Reporting

  • Update Senior Management: Provide regular updates and discuss relevant matters and decisions with senior management.

  • Inform Stakeholders: Consistently communicate about product development, strategic decisions, initiatives, and metrics.

Process and Methodology

  • Establish Product Rituals: Create and maintain practices related to product releases and business execution, including presentations and delivery techniques.

  • Promote Product Culture: Foster a culture that embraces agile methodologies, iterative processes, and proactive problem-solving.

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management or similar roles in fast-growing startups.

  • Experience building SaaS products. We are looking for someone who has done it before, someone who has taken from 0 to 100 a new product in a renowned tech company.  

  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and collaborating with various departments.

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and analyze performance metrics.
