Design Researcher

We're looking for a Design Researcher with two to three years experience to join Omelo.

User Research & Insights:

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points in pet healthcare.

• Engage in field research, interviews, and usability studies with pet owners, veterinarians, and other stakeholders to gather actionable insights.

• Create personas, journey maps, and user stories to communicate research findings effectively with design and product teams.

Design Testing & Validation:

• Collaborate with product and design teams to test and validate prototypes, ensuring design concepts resonate with target users.

• Plan and execute usability tests, collecting data to iterate on designs and enhance user experience.

• Synthesize findings into reports and presentations, highlighting user pain points, feedback, and improvement opportunities.

Competitive & Market Analysis:

• Analyze industry trends and competitor solutions to identify gaps and opportunities for Omelo’s product design.

• Provide actionable insights that influence product development, keeping Omelo at the forefront of pet healthcare innovation.

• 2-3 years of experience in design research, user experience research, or a similar role.

• Proficiency in research methodologies and tools (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys).

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate research findings into actionable insights.

• Excellent communication skills to present research insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams.

• Passion for pet care and a deep empathy for pet parents and their needs is a plus.
